AccessBliss(© 1994 BCI) is a program for the Macintoshtm computer that enables the user to find and retrieve quickly and easily any currently approved Blissymbols (approximately 2400) The Blissymbols are copied to the clipboard for subsequent use in wordprocessors such as MacWritetm, Microsoft Wordtm, or WordPerfecttm: painting or drawing programs such as MacPainttm, MacDrawtm, Read Set Go, SuperPainttm, Hypercardtm;

 AccessBliss is easy to learn and easy to use. You will be copying and pasting symbols within minutes of starting AccessBliss, even if you have never used a computer before.

AccessBliss allows you to:
  • find any Blissymbol in less than 5 seconds
  • use your choice of 4 different methods for finding symbols
  • copy multiple symbols to your clipboard
  • add or change the indicator(s) with a single click of the mouse
  • save the standard reference grid along with the symbol if you choose
  • save the word along with its symbol
  • format the clipboard in rows or columns
  • access any symbol synonym directly
  • save the Blissymbols in text or picture form

Minimum Technical Requirements:
  • Macintosh Plus, Macintosh SE or Manintosh II with 1 Megabyte or more of RAM
  • Hard disk with 10 Megabytes or more of memory is recommended but not necessary
