I’ll find a way

To get my message across

If you can not understand.

I will try another way

Until you get my message clear.

To get the things

Which are almost in my reach.

I know it’s hard

But I think I can stretch

And grab the things

I really want.

To do what looks like fun.

I’ll try with one

Or both my hands,

I’ll try hard and try again

I’ll just say to myself

“I think I can”.

 

I’ll find a way

To be a teacher,

To teach kids to talk

In a very special way.

I’ll see that they do

Get that gift of speech.

I had my turn,

Now it’s theirs.
