                 IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE

                 By: Kari A. Harrington

    Sometimes it’s impossible to move,

    Sometimes it’s impossible to move,

    This body of mine.

First my feet stick right out

Not making it easy to go through doors.

When someone tries to bend my legs,

    One is easy going

While the other one is stiff as a board.

    Sometimes it’s impossible to move,

    This body of mine.

    When putting a coat on,

    We have no trouble

With right hand, it always behaves.

The other won’t dare to relax.

Wiggly, is the name of the hand

That loves to grabs Mother’s plant

    And pull all its leaves.

    Sometimes it’s impossible to move,

    This body of mine.

    In bed I get uncomfortable.

    My stubborn legs get caught

In the railing of my bed

Or I get all tangled up in my covers.

I don’t want to wake anybody up,

I twist and turn for 1 or 2 hours

Until I’m okay but it’s never perfect.

    Sometimes I get so frustrated

And I have to cry for help

With tears rolling out of my eyes.

    Sometimes it’s impossible to move,

    This body of mine.
